Why is my Xbox 360 giving me 3 Red Lights after XCLAMP repair?
Hi everyone I recently fixed my Xbox 360 and removed E74 by removing and replacing thermal grease (Arctic Silver Ceramique) on my graphics card on my 360, I then bolted it down with 4 m5 threaded bolts added 8 nylon washers, and 8 steel washers. My xbox 360 worked fine for about 30 minutes until it gave me the 3 red lights, I did every step again and tried it again. Once again worked for 30 minutes gave me 3 red lights. Tried one more time, worked for 30 minutes and gave me 3 red lights. Does anyone know what to do to fix tis error?
Did you do xclamp fix to the CPU and GPU? A better fix if you want to spend about 20$ is to reflow the system with a heat gun. there are tutorials online. If you want to find out what is specifically wrong with your xbox 360 use this:
-Turn on the system and wait for the RROD
-Hold down the sync button and open the dvd drive. Record the number of lights flashing. Repeat this 4 times, and the 5th time you should get the three red lights again. Use the Info below to create a four number code.
4 Flashing Lights = 0
1 Flashing Light = 1
2 Flashing Lights = 2
3 Flashing Lights = 3
